Valtela Get a card

Ten percent of every invoice, for five years

Your people sign the shops up. You take $60 a year on every one of them, in the fifth year the same as in the first, so $300 a shop by the time it is done. You never stand at a counter, hold a card or send an invoice.

What you earn How it works

Nothing to pay us, no exclusivity, no minimum, and you can stop whenever you want.

What you earn

We pay on invoices that have been paid. A signature earns nothing until the money is in, and nothing is ever taken back off you later.

Bring the sellers

Your people walk into the shops. You add them in the portal and watch the money come in behind them.

$300per shop your sellers sign, over 5 years

  • $60 a year on every shop of theirs, paid out monthly
  • The same 10% in the fifth year as in the first
  • The whole invoice counts, extra cards on the counter included
  • No fee, no minimum, no exclusivity, no territory
  • Your sellers, their shops and every invoice on one screen

Or sell it yourself

With nobody above you, the whole commission on the shop is yours.

$775per shop you sign yourself, over 5 years

  • $299 when the first invoice is paid, then $119 on every renewal
  • Cards printed and posted by us, nothing to keep in stock
  • You can do both: bring sellers and sign your own shops
Ask about selling
Year 1 Years 2 to 5
The shop pays $599 $599
Commission on it 50% / $299 20% / $119
You take 10% / $60 10% / $60
Your seller takes 40% / $239 10% / $59

Your cut comes out of the commission, never out of the shop's price: the shop pays $599 a year either way.

Run the numbers

Pick which one you are and move the sliders. This is one year of selling and what it pays you.

50 shops signed

$3,000

at $60 a shop a year, before tax. A shop that stops renewing drops out of the count from that year on.

How it works

You need us for the first email and for nothing after it. There is no software to install, no stock to buy and no white labelling to argue about.

Day one

We open your portal

One email to us and you have a login the same day. No contract to sign, no call to sit through.

Whenever you like

You add your sellers

A name and an email address each. The portal opens their account, sends them their login and puts their cards in the post.

At the counter

A seller signs a shop

They tap a card, pick the shop off Google, type in the owner's email address and leave. We send the invoice and we chase it when it is late.

Every month

You get paid

One payment a month for everything that cleared, with every seller, shop and invoice on the screen behind it.

What a seller walks in with

One plan at $599 a year for one location, $79 for a second card on the same counter. There is nothing else to quote and nothing to upsell later.

The listing is read every night

Rating, review count, hours, phone, address, and whether the listing is still up at all. We compare tonight against last night, and when something moved the owner has it in an email the next morning with the old value beside the new one.

The card sits on the counter

NFC and a QR code on one card, printed and posted by us, already pointed at that one listing. A customer taps it and gets the Google review page, or a message box that only the owner ever reads.

The email arrives on its own

An alert the day something changes, a report at the end of every month, a summary at the end of the year, and a dated record of what we saw when a run of one-star reviews turns up out of nowhere.

Nobody notices a review going missing

An owner might notice the count, weeks later, and by then there is no way to tell what it said or when it went. That is the whole pitch at the counter, in one sentence: somebody reads your listing every night and writes to you the morning it changes.

Both buttons, for every customer

The card never asks how the visit went and then decides what to show. Google's rules forbid sorting customers that way and so do our terms, which is the answer to the first objection most sellers meet.

None of the work lands on you

We print and post the cards, we invoice the shop, we chase the invoice, and we answer the owner when they write in. Year two is a renewal rather than a second sale, because the emails have been arriving all year.

Questions

Anything else, ask in the form at the foot of the page.

How do I know a shop is mine?

Every seller is tagged to whoever brought them in and every shop to the seller who signed it. Your screen shows the lot: which seller, which shop, what it has paid and what it still owes.

What happens if one of my sellers leaves?

Their shops stay tagged to you and keep paying you for the rest of their 5 years. The tag follows the shop, not the person who is still turning up.

When do I get paid?

Once a month, for the invoices that were paid that month. An unpaid invoice pays nobody anything, and once you have been paid it is never clawed back.

Do I have to hand over my contacts?

No. Add people one at a time, or send them this page and let them come to you. We do not sell to anyone you bring and we do not go around you.

What does it cost me?

Nothing. There is no joining fee, no minimum and no stock to buy. A month with no sales in it is a month where nobody owes anybody anything.

What can you not do?

Take a bad review down. Only Google can do that. We do not write reviews, buy them, or decide which customers get asked for one.

Who does this work for?

Anyone already selling to businesses with a counter: agencies, resellers of tills and point of sale kit, print shops, people who do local search. The list is the hard part and you already have it.

Tell us who you could bring

Your company, your city, and roughly how many people you could put on it. If you would rather sell it yourself than build a team, say so and we will set you up that way.

We reply by email, usually the same day.

We keep what you send for as long as we might reply to it, and no longer. More in our privacy policy.
